TourismHQ Limited (“Tourism HQ”) is a New Zealand business.

By completing the booking form you warrant that the information contained in the booking form is correct. You bear all loss,
damage or liability arising from any inaccuracy in the information recorded in your booking form.

FLIGHTS

All flights are subject to the specific airlines terms of carriage. These special fares do not accrue air points or any similar loyalty points, nor can any upgrades be purchased via air points or by similar means.

PRICES

Fares promoted are “per person”; however some rooms are sold in packages for multiple persons to attend. The buyer, in purchasing a package, undertakes full financial responsibility to liaise with those attending with him/her for settlement of the deposit and total balance.

Prices are inclusive of taxes where applicable.
Prices may be subject to change due to tax or fuel surcharge increases.
TourismHQ reserves the right to amend prices at any time.

WHAT’S INCLUDED IN OUR PRICES

All accommodation costs.
All return airfares from the airport designated upon booking.
All return transfer costs from the airport to the respective resort.
Daily resort breakfasts.
REPUBLIC OF GEORGE™ Experience festival pass.

WHAT’S NOT INCLUDED IN OUR PRICES (this list is not exhaustive)

Meals (excluding daily breakfasts) and beverages.
Additional add-on activities.
Insurance, including but not limited to travel insurance.
Personally incurred expenses.
Any travel cost incurred to and from your home port of departure and/or return.
Any charges levied by the resort for the use and/or damage of their facilities.

PAYMENT

We only accept credit or debit cards for payment.
Card Fees 2.8% is added on all credit and debit card transactions.
Payment Plan Fee A 10.9% admin fee is added for those opting to pay their balance on a monthly basis.

POTENTIAL NO GO – LACK OF SALES

Completion of the online booking form and payment of your deposit, or the full cost, does not guarantee your booking. If insufficient packages are sold and the trip will not proceed, TourismHQ will be in contact no later than 30 days before your flights are scheduled to depart to advise you of the same. In the event that the trip does not proceed because insufficient packages are sold, you will be provided a full refund. Please note that any additional costs such as flights to and from your home port of departure and/ or return are the sole responsibility of the traveler.

FEATURED PERFORMERS/ ENTERTAINMENT

Whilst every effort is made to ensure that all advertised performances and entertainment occur, TourismHQ reserves the right to change the published line-up of performers and/or entertainment without notification to you: this includes but is not limited to featured performers and any other type of attraction or form of ntertainment featured in Tourism HQ’s promotional materials. You agree that the packages are solely sold and purchased for the experience of travel and not for the purpose of being entertained by a featured performer or a promoted form of entertainment.

CANCELLATIONS & NON-PAYMENT

Given the short turnaround of this event, if you cancel, or your reservation is automatically cancelled for non-payment, there are no refunds.

In the case of a credit card chargeback or reversal of past payment(s) any expenses, disbursements and legal costs incurred by TourismHQ in the enforcement to retain those funds shall be paid by the Customer, including any actual solicitor’s fees or debt collection agency fees with an applied interest rate of 23% per annum.

Guests opting to pay for their reservation by way of instalments must do so on the agreed instalment dates, failure do so could result in the cancellation of the reservation. If for any reason whatsoever you fail to, or are unable to, make an instalment payment on its due date, you will incur a default fee of $2.00 for each failed attempt.

The system will try to deduct the instalment once every 24hours from the due date, for 7 days. As a result, you could be charged, in aggregate, $14.00 for each instalment payment you miss or which is paid late.

Depending on your reason for cancelling and provided your reasons fall within the terms of your travel insurance policy, subject to these terms and conditions you may be able to have these charges refunded. Consult your (travel) insurer for further details.

CHANGES/ AMENDMENT OF BOOKINGS

After you have made a booking and paid a deposit, any change to your reservation will incur an administrative fee of NZD$100, per person, per change.

Name changes are free of charge via the booking system up until 45 days prior to travel.No changes can be made within 30 days of travel.

Such changes are subject to availability and only upon full agreement by TourismHQ which is at our sole and absolute discretion.If your requested change is not available, the normal cancellation policy outlined herein applies.

MATTERS OF DISPUTE / LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

Travel is an individual experience, and your preferences and opinions may vary from our own and that of others. Accordingly, you agree that TourismHQ is not responsible for your personal satisfaction.

TourismHQ facilitates the direct contractual relationship between you (the customer) and principal suppliers (i.e. airlines, other transport operators, accommodation suppliers and other suppliers). We undertake to perform these services with reasonable skill and care.All package bookings are subject to the terms and conditions and limitations of liability imposed by the specific service providers who are providing services to you. Those terms and conditions may limit or exclude liability for death, personal injury, delay and loss or damage of baggage.

You agree it is your responsibility to ensure your travel documents, such as flight times and passport names are all correct. You agree that TourismHQ will not be held liable for any loss, damage, claim or liability arising from those acts, defaults or omissions which occur outside of Tourism HQ’s control or any cause occurring independently of human control.

Any cause occurring independently of human control includes weather isruptions, earthquake, dangers caused by or incidental to the sea, flood, fire, storm, natural disaster, acts of God, war, terrorism, acts of Government or other authorities, armed conflict, hostilities, civil disturbances, labour strikes, lockouts, boycotts, the breakdown of machinery or equipment, deaths, pilferage, epidemics, pandemics, quarantines or any exercise of any applicable medical or customs regulation or other similar events beyond the reasonable control of a human being.

REFUNDS

If a refund is provided it will be provided at the face value of the package purchased less any outstanding instalments and any reasonable expenses and overheads incurred in relation to the package, and will exclude any credit card, admin, finance and/or default fee’s.

RESORT CREDIT

Unused resort credit is non-refundable. However, the resort has been open to transferring unused credit to other guests portfolio’s in prior years. The receiving guest can then reimburse you via cash or bank transfer for example.

INSURANCE

TourismHQ requires you to take out comprehensive travel insurance from a reputable company with full indemnity cover for cancellation, loss of deposit, medical expenses, personal accident(s) and loss of personal baggage (whether by theft or otherwise).You should take out travel insurance at the time that your holiday is booked.

Whilst TourismHQ exercises the skill and care at all times, in the unlikely event of an emergency, TourismHQ staff may, in their absolute discretion, call for third party emergency services, including but not limited to expert medical care, to ensure the protection of your health, safety and/ or property. Should this occur, you agree that TourismHQ may make claim of a refund of such monies from you in the first instance and your insurer if required.

PROMOTIONS/ WEBSITE

All reasonable care has been taken to ensure the accuracy of all promotional materials, but services offered, package availability, prices and event details may be subject to change from time to time.

You agree to keep in contact with us (or your travel agent) to ensure any changes which occur can be passed on to you.

PHOTOGRAPHY

You agree that any photograph, video or image taken of you during your holiday with TourismHQ may be used by TourismHQ for promotional purposes in our promotional materials, our brochures and/ or on our website and that no further consent from you and/ or any payment to you is required.

CHANGES IN ITINERARY

TourismHQ reserves the right to make changes to an itinerary or postpone the trip if circumstances beyond our control make it necessary, including weather and cultural conditions.

PRE AND POST TRIP TRAVEL AND ACCOMMODATION

TourismHQ is not responsible for your travel arrangements to Auckland and costs incurred in getting to the point of commencement of the holiday, or from the point of conclusion of the holiday. All bookings with these carriers, hoteliers or other service providers are subject to their terms and conditions and limitations of liability imposed.

BAGGAGE

TourismHQ will not be held responsible for any loss or theft of baggage or belongings.You should ensure you have the appropriate travel insurance.

CODE OF CONDUCT

The success and enjoyment of your holiday depends on you and others behaving in an appropriate and responsible manner. It is a material condition that your conduct is compatible with the well being and general enjoyment of others on your holiday. You agree to accept the authority of TourismHQ staff, and that of your principal suppliers’ staff, and at all times comply with their requests and directions. You acknowledge that there is a zero tolerance to illegal drug use and possession, intoxication, threatening or abusive behaviour, both physical and verbal, risk taking and property vandalism.

If your behaviour is deemed to have the potential to negatively affect another guest’s experience, then TourismHQ, at our discretion, may not let you continue with your holiday. If this occurs you will be responsible for your own return transport costs and you will not be entitled to any refund for the unused portion of your holiday.

You also agree that if this occurs you will have no claim against TourismHQ or our suppliers.

RESPONSIBLE SERVICE OF ALCOHOL

The resort used for your holiday has a policy of responsible service of alcohol. If you become intoxicated, you will not be served and you may be escorted from any area where alcohol is being served.

PASSPORT AND VISAS

It is your responsibility to ensure you have a valid passport, with a minimum of six (6) months’ validity, and any applicable visa that you may require for your holiday.

PRIVACY

TourismHQ stores information about you and your booking so that we can notify you of our holidays and special offers and for the purposes of obtaining your feedback.

These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of New Zealand.
